Luca and Loraine Baricchi

  Luca Baricchi, originally from Italy, and Loraine Baricchi, originally from Ireland, began dancing together in 1993. They are former British Open, UK, and European champions, and have revolutionized ballroom dancing with their dance theories and passion for ballroom dancing. Since their retirement from competitive dancing, they have dedicated themselves to the art of ballroom dance and teaching others the joy of dance. They are known today as true legends in the world of ballroom dancing.

Susan Puttock

  Born in England, Susan emigrated to the U.S. competing for top honors in this country. In 1984, she and her husband Brian won the United States Championship in the Standard Division and went on to represent the U.S. in the World Championship. After being National Champions for three years, Brian and Susan retired from competing to devote their time to training, judging and promoting their own competition, the Nevada Star Ball Dance Championship, held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Edward Simon                                                                                                                                                                                   Edward Simons commitment to the world of dancesport is not only reflected in his achievements but also in his current activities. As a competing professional he won a number of events and reached many great achievement including the United States Professional American Ballroom Champion, World Classic showdance Finalist and United States Theatrical Silver Medalist. Since his retirement from competition he has become a distinguished coach, judge, and ambassador for dancesport.

Marina and Taliat Tarsinov

  Dancing together in Russia in 1974 blossomed into a partnership that led to marriage and family. In 1988, after winning the Russian Amateur Championship, they turned professional and danced until 1995, when they announced their retirement from the competitive floor. Their professional awards and achievements are numerous : the Russian National Latin Championship, the Russian National Ten Dance Championship, and the Soviet Union National Standard and Latin Show Dance Championships. They held four of the five possible national titles in their home country, and were ranked second place for the fifth title, International Standard. They are former National Fred Astaire Professional Standard and Latin Champions and were selected to be members of the National Fred Astaire Council of Dance. They are also members of the National Dance Council of America and the World Dance and Dance Sport Federation. The Tarsinovs are acclaimed adjudicators, and have been selected to represent the United States at all types of international competitions, including World Championships.
