Unlimited Group Classes!

If you like meeting new people, and trying out different dances in a relaxed, social atmosphere, then our weekly group classes are a great choice for you. We have separate classes for adults and children, ranging from beginner to advanced levels. Need a fun or team-building activity for a group of friends, your office or family? Piper Glen Ballroom teaches private group dance classes during the week, or on weekends. For parties of 8 or more persons, our private group classes include a lesson in a dance of your choice with your favorite instructor, and complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres.
 
We have a couple of ways to join in for group class fun:

  • Each class individually is $10. No need to sign up or call ahead, just drop in!
  • We also offer an Unlimited Monthly Group Class Pass, which allows you to take ALL the group classes you want for that whole month! Call 704-541-1611 for details.

ZUMBA / CARDIO FUNK
Piper Glen Ballroom is introducing a new way to tone up, and dance, in a fun, high energy environment, with our new Zumba/Cardio Funk class. Nickie will introduce the new moves and funky style of Cardio Funk, with the dance moves of Zumba, and put them all together, for a fun filled workshop that is sure to get you moving.
You asked; we listened...Regularly scheduled classes are now every Saturday at 10 AM.

DiscoverEase
This new class will teach you the core fundamentals that will bring you closer to the dancer you want to be. Taught by Lucianne Hamilton, this class will help you learn and understand how to use your body correctly. (This class is primarily a floor and mat class)
BOLLYWOOD FITNESS
New Time! Join us on Sundays at 10 AM for this high energy dance workout set to a bollywood style. Bollywood fitness is a fun filled, high impact class that incorporates fitness, dance and isolation to the energetic beat of the bollywood sound.This class is sure to get your heart pumping with fun dance aerobic moves that work the entire body and allow you to work to your capability. 
NIA
Nia is a sensory-based movement practice that leads to health, wellness and fitness. It draws from disciplines of the martial arts, dance arts and healing arts. Classes are designed for those seeking personal enrichment and development, and every experience can be adapted to individual needs and abilities. Join us for this personal journey of mind and body, Wednesday mornings at 9 AM.
